Week 1 Results- Starting Week 2

Week 1 is now over and the results of my weight loss are in:

(Drum Roll Please!)

Start: 162lbs
Week 2 start: 156 lbs
Lost: 6lbs!!!

In addition, my BMI went down one point from 28-27!!

This week wasn't super easy, but obviously I did okay!!!

My suggestions: get a WW cookbook with point values- these recipes are meant to fill you up for small amount of points. Yay!!

Weight Watchers Take 2 (or more like 200!)

So yesterday I began the wonderful weight loss journey again! I've known for sometime that this day was coming, but I knew I had to hit "rock-bottom" first. I looked at myself in the mirror on Saturday and was disgusted. I know I can do better, so I'm going to attempt this again. I can do the diet, that's not the hard part- the hard part is when I reach my goal and decide to go back to eating the way I used to. I just can't do it again!!! Once it comes off this time, it's going to stay off (I hope!)

So here's the stats:
Start Date: July 27, 2008
Start Weight: 162 (yikes) which makes my BMI 27.8 (Just as a reference- BMI <18>30 is obese.
Goal Weight: 130 which makes my Goal Loss 32lbs

I hope to do this over about 5 or 6 months, provided there aren't events that make me have to gain weight *wink, wink*

So yesterday was a really tough day to start. It was my brother-in-law's 21st birthday party and of course there was plenty of junk food and booze around to celebrate. I was relatively good- I ate the dried veggie chips mostly, and a few tortilla chips. Then I had one slice of white pizza with broccoli and a little bit of caesar salad. I avoided the dessert table completely and only had iced tea (brewed unsweetened) and caffeine free diet coke as beverages.

The hardest part for me is water intake. I have trouble consuming that much water. I usually can get in a 25oz water bottle at lunch at work, so that counts for 3 servings. I'm going to try to use water to stave off my mid-afternoon hunger, so we'll see how that works.

Week 2 Over- Week 3 Begins!

Week 2 is over!! So last week I was kind of upset because I didn't lose any weight at all. I was talking to my Mom, and she said that maybe it was because it was my "time of the month" and I was holding onto water. Well, I guess she was right! Here's this week's results!

Start Weight Week 2: 159
End Weight Week 2: 153!
Total Loss So Far 6lbs!!


I was mostly good this week, so I think that also helped me lose some weight! I also got a haircut yesterday, so who knows. LOL.

I'm pretty excited!!!

Week 1 over- Week 2 beginning!

So my first week was tough, but okay. Here's a synopsis.

For breakfast every morning I had a colombo yogurt which was 2pts
Lunch was varied from 5-6 points to 2points depending on how my rotation went that day.
Dinner: Monday- pierogies, Tuesday- Sushi! Wednesday Salmon & Swordfish, Thursday Pizza, Friday Pizzeria Uno Veggie Sandwich Saturday Stone Grille

Dinner caused me some problems this week which is why I stayed even at 159lbs. I'm a little depressed by this, but hopefully I'll do better next week!

Here we go again!

Hopefully this time will be better! I'm starting on WW again, this time with a definite goal in mind. My sister is getting married in January 2008, and I want to look good in my Matron of Honor dress. I think I want to lose about 30 lbs. My sister, mom and I have all committed to lose 25lbs each. Hopefully we do well!!

So I start today. My starting weight is 159. My goal will be 134 for right now, possibly to be less later on. I got to 139 last time I was successful with weight watchers, so we'll see if I can do it again!

So far, I've had a cup of coffee today and I'm going to get some lunch in a little while. I start a new rotation tomorrow, so challenges do lay ahead!!

Beginning Week 4!

I'm not even sure if anyone reads this, but it's good for me to write this stuff down anyway.

Today I start week 4 of WW!
Start Weight (4 weeks ago): 165
Start Weight Week 3: 156
Week 4 Weigh-In: 153
Loss this week: 3 lbs
Total Loss so far: 12 lbs!
Weight Loss Needed for Goal: 18lbs

I've passed the 10lb mini-goal! Yay!!

This week was pretty much the same as the previous weeks with one exception. I took the boards on Tuesday and Wednesday, and to celebrate we went out to dinner at Stone Grille. I decided to not make this count towards my points at all, since I was celebrating. I made sure I was careful with my points the rest of the week, and it turned out fine. As long as I'm not celebrating every day, I think it works out just fine.
